FC Porto — Stadium Transformation & Partnership Film

FC Porto – Estádio do Dragão Stadium Transformation

Legends, which leads the hospitality and fan-experience project at FC Porto’s Estádio do Dragão, hired me to document the stadium’s transformation after the club’s partnership with Ithaka. The works renewed the presidential and VIP boxes and the hospitality bars, and added a new central kitchen, part of FC Porto’s plan to improve the fan experience and prepare the stadium for the 2030 World Cup.

I started filming on 14 May 2025, during the demolitions, as the old decoration came out. I came back in June and July to follow each phase: building, painting, the furniture going in and the kitchens being fitted out. Then I filmed two match days, the season presentation game on 3 August and a game on 4 December, with fans, members and guests using the new spaces.

On 12 December I interviewed FC Porto vice-president João Borges about what the partnership brings to fans and members, and built the edit around his words. I edited and colour graded the film through the club’s reviews, and FC Porto published it on 25 February 2026, with the news that the works resume this summer (watch it on fcporto.pt).
