Furniture Factory Video Production | Furniture Brand Film for De Kercoet

De Kercoet – Furniture Workshop Brand Film

De Kercoet, a furniture maker founded in Brittany, France, found me through my website and asked for a short film about how their pieces are made. On 28 February 2022 I spent a full day in a furniture workshop, filming the craftsmen, the machines and the finishing, from raw wood to finished furniture.

I filmed alone, on a gimbal, and edited two 45-second films from the day: this one about the whole workshop, and a second about one of their master carvers. Each came with a vertical version for social media. I also photographed the day: De Kercoet ordered 10 photos and, after seeing them, bought 24 more. Four years later, De Kercoet still plays the carver film on its homepage.
