Bologna, Modena & Parma – Tour Film and Guest Interviews for Untold Italy

From 30 April to 7 May 2024, we followed Untold Italy’s food tour through Emilia, from Bologna to Modena and the countryside around Parma, visiting the producers behind three of Italy’s most famous foods.

The highlight was a Parmigiano Reggiano producer, with rows and rows of cheese wheels ageing on the shelves. It was a dream to film. In Modena, a balsamic vinegar producer let the group taste many different grades of vinegar, and we also visited a Parma ham producer. Between the visits, I filmed the landscapes on the road.

I also filmed interviews with guests about their week. We travelled as part of the group, and Yishyene photographed the tour. The day this tour ended, we went straight on to Piedmont.
